A CSR approach that reflects our values – ISO 20121 certification

For Group ESI and our three entities (ESI Fine Arts, ESI Mobility, and ESI), corporate social responsibility (CSR) is an approach that is part of our sustainable development strategy.

Our CSR approach applies to the following areas:

  • art logistics,
  • luxury goods,
  • in event transportation,
  • and in high-end moving services.

Its cross-functional integration addresses social, environmental, and economic concerns in our company’s activities.

ESI Group: the vital importance of sustainable development

Given the challenges of sustainable development, we firmly believe that CSR is particularly important:

  • for each of our employees,
  • and for the many stakeholders involved in the supply chain in general.

It is our ecological duty and civic responsibility to take into account the related environmental aspects:

  • transportation,
  • for chartering,
  • and the preservation of property in general.

Our values are fully aligned with the CSR approach, which emphasizes transparency, dialogue, responsibility, and action.

In this context, CSR involves companies voluntarily integrating social and environmental concerns into their business activities and their relationships with stakeholders.

This means that the company recognizes, as Group ESI does, that in addition to its criminal and civil liability, it has a social responsibility towards society as a whole.

This was particularly the case when opting for eco-friendly solutions such as:

  • recycling packaging,
  • reducing CO2 emissions,
  • or the implementation of effective responsible management.

ESI Group, ISO 20121 certified

A committed and highly active player, the ESI Group has obtained ISO 20121 certification.

The ISO 20121 standard is a benchmark for responsible event management: while promoting sustainability, it takes into account social, economic, and environmental impacts.

By adopting this standard, the ESI Group is committed to event management that benefits:

  • reducing the carbon footprint associated with transportation,
  • improving the organization’s reputation,
  • stakeholder engagement and retention.

Respect for environmental aspects

Whether through our own transport operations or as a freight forwarder, we strive to reduce our carbon footprint through careful management of our fuel consumption (choosing less polluting modes of transport, etc.).

From a general operational standpoint, we have implemented a policy that encourages:

  • responsible waste management,
  • as well as measured and controlled consumption (no overconsumption, controlled paper consumption in our offices, energy savings, use of recycled materials for our supplies, etc.).

We are also committed to protecting the environment. We therefore ensure that our activities do not harm natural resources and biodiversity in the ecosystem surrounding our storage warehouses, for example.

Let’s give importance to the social aspect

One of the areas of focus for CSR concerns the social dimension, where we ensure:

  • to guarantee decent working conditions for our employees,
  • to promote dialogue with stakeholders,
  • to place importance on training our employees, as we believe that consolidating or developing new skills is a way to flourish in both your professional and personal life,
  • and to provide them with maximum safety in their tasks, both for our teams and also for our subcontractors, by adopting a risk prevention policy.

An economy of steady and sustainable growth

On the economic front, Group ESI has embarked on a comprehensive performance initiative that fully integrates sustainable development issues.

For example, we have implemented ethical technical and commercial practices that take care of our employees and their environment.

Through responsible management, we encourage the involvement of each of our colleagues, who are fully engaged in this CSR approach.

Our eco-responsible approach is a fundamental concept in the way our company operates and in our relationships with our customers, whether they are:

  • organizers of a trade fair, trade show, or public event,
  • art collectors, national museums, or private collections,
  • owner of an art gallery, architect, designer, etc.
