FAQ

I need to ship a bronze sculpture to Los Angeles. How should I proceed?

Firstly, it is essential to know the age of the sculpture; is it a contemporary work or a cultural asset, and whether the recipient is a gallery, museum, or private individual.

Secondly, it is important that the sculpture is properly packaged for export, in a wooden crate designed for this purpose.

Finally, it is necessary to know exactly where in Los Angeles the delivery is to be made (street number/floor/accessibility/etc.).

Upon receipt of this information, ESI determines the appropriate mode of transport (road or air) and, after approval by the local customs authorities (given according to the exact nature of the work), proceeds with the shipment.

I need to ship a machine by special transport to Norway. How should I proceed?

Firstly, send ESI the exact packaging details of the goods to be shipped: dimensions, weight, and diagram of the machine for feasibility studies and transport authorizations to be put in place. Each country crossed must give authorization for the passage of an exceptional convoy and impose the route to be followed on its territory.

It is important to note that obtaining transport authorizations can take between 3 and 5 weeks, so it is very important to take this timeframe into account when planning your delivery schedule.

I need to exhibit my products in Singapore/Shanghai/Sao Paulo/New York/Mexico City/Dubai/Dallas/Las Vegas/Casablanca/etc. for an upcoming trade show. What is the procedure to follow?

Contact ESI approximately two months before the trade show opens: this will allow you to opt for sea freight if the volume of your shipment warrants it. We will take care of the rest: from picking up your packages at your premises to delivering them to your booth in Singapore, Shanghai, etc., we will handle all logistics in coordination with our local partner.
